Local History Tour
Local Tour by 3rd and 4th classes to Donohill and surrounds
With Mr. Kevin O' Reilly as our guide and in the company of teachers and pupils of St. Francis N.S. Donohill , 3rd and 4th class, along with their teachers Mrs. McMahon and Mrs. Coman travelled on foot and by bus on a tour of historical sights around Donohill .Mr. O' Reilly is a true historian and gave us all a valuable insight into landmarks and geographical landscape in the area. Both teachers and pupils thoroughly enjoyed the experience .We learnt about Dan Breen , Ballysheedy Castle and Anglesia Road to name but a few. We saw a Kettle lake, the golden vale and a glebe also.
